Hey guys, so I'm upgrading my PC and so I'm buying a new processor and Motherboard, however, I wanted to keep the same DDR3 memory i had before so I didn't have to buy new DDR4. So i found a Motherboard https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B014QPFSOC/ref=ox_sc_act_title_2?smid=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE&psc=1
and then when lookinng for the processor i found this one
https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B012M8M7TY/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=A1A2ITNOSG7IH1&psc=1
however, when looking through the CPU specs, I found it only supports DDR4 and DDR3L and so I'm unsure whether my DDR3 will work with it

Any help at all is appreciated
Thanks!

No ddr3L is low voltage which regular ddr3 won't run at at least not at rated specs. Just buy a h110 motherboard and ddr4 it'll be about the same price as the board you're looking at, it'll also run a bit faster and a lot cooler. Do know no k series chips for the 1151 chipset come with a CPU cooler
