too small the picture, hard to know with just the picture

i did a small search for some information seen on the picture

it is a oem generic manufacturer from china, sort of no brand manufacturer mainboard, in china and asia in general there is many manufacturers like this, some good, other no idea, we never see their products on america or europe

look at this other offer, almost exactly the same model

http://www.ebay.es/itm/Intel-X79-ATX-Motherboard-Socket-R-LGA-2011-PCIe-DDR3-CrossFireX-USB-3-0-SATA3-/131967555529?hash=item1eb9e117c9:g:AR8AAOSwzqFY~FE5

looks very similar, colors, heatsinks, socket cover

it says hua nan, a chinese manufacturer

looks decent, but no idea on the warranty

if you search for that in aliexpress you...

if you search for that in aliexpress you will find lots of them, same colors and shapes, one is practically identicall but doesn't have the heatsinks over the vrm area

hua nan, assuming it is the oem manufacturer, should have some sort of site, but is a sort of oem mixed with clone manufacturer

i wouldn't have high hopes on it about quality and support, a quick search on google offered nothing usable, perhaps with patience you can find something more usable

seems to me like the "huanan" X79 Motherboards only support Xeon Processors according to UserBenchmark

but we are not 100% sure about if it is a hua nan lga 2011, it looks like it is

as you see with this oem vendors no name boards and no idea what they can do is complicted to deal with them, the price is great but no idea if it will work :/

i mean, its 2017. the X79 lga 2011 motherboards shouldn't be expensive. since there are so many newer CPUs and motherboards around. i would just buy a R5 1600X but ive got DDR3 Ram that i payed quite alot for so i dont really want to buy new ram. and i dont really want a 4c 8c i7 since a 4c 4t CPU is now become the bare minimum for gaming. pegged at 100% in alot of new games under load, bottlenecking my GPU. hence the upgrade.

i didnt read the description last time, but it mentions this: 【Basic information】:Chipset:INTEL X79. Form Factor:ATX 28cm x 22cm. CPU Socket:Intel LGA2011 Supports Intel Core I7(sandy bridge-E) 1800mHZ, 2133mHz processor, supports all LGA2011 CPU.

【Memory Socket】 Support DDR3 1066/1333/1600, dual DIMM. Provide 4 * 240PIN DDR3 slots, the single DDR3 supports 4GB max. For I/O features please refer to product description

so it looks like it DOES Support a i7 3930K but it looks like my Ram will only clocked at 1600mhz. the only thing stopping me from buying it is that it might not overclock, which is a big no for me if it cant overclock. the guy in the review section said this: EDIT: Overclocking is in fact supported, but only by using the multiplier method, but that may be just my CPU (i7 3820, it can overclock but has a gimped multiplier). XMP still isnt enabled, and my 1600 mhz DDR3 gets lowered to 1333. Forcing the RAM speed back to 1600 is not functional, whereas on my old board, it defaulted to 1600. SLI is still not supported, and ran into a few blue-screens because of the wireless driver. (I uninstalled and reinstalled my wifi card driver, and it seems to be OK). Though expect to have a PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA code if you just slap it in w/o reinstalling windows, which I have yet to do. On windows 10, you can insert the board w/o reinstalling, but I still recommend you to do so.

so im not sure what to do. i need a cheap X79 Motherboard but it needs to overclock. otherwise its useless to me.

dude the cheap motherboard that ive linked does support an i7 3xxx, a guy in the review section used an i7 3820 and it worked fine. the only problem being is if it can overclock.

i think it can't but i could be wrong

i would take this board purchase as a experiment, it could go well or go wrong, so be prepared in mboth economical and mental aspects! :D

the chipset is a bit old and sort of special, could be old but doesn't mean it will be cheap, take as example those lga 771 sockets, other sockets for xeons, cpu is cheap and abundant but the mainboards are a whole different story

well i bought it and shortly afterwards ended up returning it as it didnt support overclocking, locked my ram to 1333mhz when advertised supporting 1600mhz, PCIe slot was gen 2 x16 but advertised as gen 3 x16, and no fan controller. making my CPU and chassis fans run @100%.... tried speedfan didnt change anything. so back to the old FX 9320, 990FX combo untill i get another X79 Motherboard.
