Mic no longer works?

Hi, I have a mic that has suddenly stopped working, I am on windows 7 64 bit and I have had this mic for 3months and it has just stopped working. it is a Fifine k058

Did you try the mic on another computer or other device? Or try another mic on your computer?

Check Recording devices on your computer and verify that the Fifine mic is still the default audio in source.

Plug in the mic as usual and try gently wiggling and twisting its cable from one end to the other. Keep talking while doing so. Pay close attention to the plug and mic ends. The idea being that if there is a break in the wire you may hear the mic momentarily respond if any broken wire(s) are made to contact again.
