Hey there, I am buying a new pc soon and I wondering if I should get a rx 580 or a gtx 1060, now I think I am leaning towards the red team, mainly because of the crossfire support in the future. Is a 550w psu enough for 2 rx 580s or am I going to need to upgrade my psu at a later stage?

It is always better to go for higher end gpu then sli/crossfire and the problems you may get with sli/crossfire too, most of the old problems are gone so for the most part it will be fine.

But still spend more and get like a 1070 now or wait for vega and it will last you much longer and give you better peformance.

I'd say go for it . I hate when people say to just get a single strong card but they don't factor in the price or anything . You'll should be getting close to 1080 ti performance with that crossfire system.
Also the system would only use about 490 watts so you'd have a little headroom left . Get the double cards and you won't regret it . Only thing you'd really need is a new motherboard .
