Motherboard I/O not working

Recently I changed my PSU's fan blades (I know it was a stupid thing to do but it sounded like a jet engine and i had to do something about it).

After i changed it, i plugged it in and everything was working: PSU, motherboard lights were on, cpu cooler, case fan, hard disk and cd player.

However, when i plug anything into my motherboard, like a monitor, keyboard or an ethernet cable, its says no signal. I tried charging my phone with a usb cable but it will only charge for a split second then not charge anymore.

Things I have tried:
1. taking out the ram, cd player and hard drive
2. removing an IC and inserting back in again
3. clearing the CMOS

I dont have a motherboard speaker. When i hold the power button or reset button, the PC will turn off so theres some kind of communication.

Hello... Do you mean to say " I changed my Power supply cooling fan" ...as this is a normal thing to do, Good Job B )

But is sounds like you have a ground wire/neutral/? ... or something not connected right from the Power supply... this problem is typical to ground/common wire not connected properly B / re-check all your connections you disconnected to do this job.

1) How much 'wrangling" did you do in the Power suppy or to the Wiring of your hardware/components in the case while doing this? B /

I did not touch any components in the power supply besides the fan itself. The 24-pin connector was quite difficult to take off so i might have put quite a bit of force on it?

Hello... ahhh you removed the main MB connector and had problems with that B ( ...typically you need to support the MB from the back for them.

1) I would suggest you take a closer look at that connection... you have a Black/? wire/common connection problem there.
2) make sure a wire/connecter is not pushed out the back of the PS connector too.
3) make sure you have the connector deep enough into the MB connector.

The Nylon they use for those connecters have a 'sticky" characteristic to them... and typically some lubrication is used in the factory to insert them in a fast safe manner.

I checked all the pinks and the connections inside the pse thorougly and didnt find any connection problem..

Hello... Well the fastest thing here to do is try another Power supply in it B / that should only take 1/2 hour to try a test that way... can you do that? cause it does sound like a power/hardware problem if you cannot boot into the MB BIos B /

Can you post us a Digital Pic of the inside of your computer and PS... and all the other items and your connections for us?

Also can you give your List of Computer parts and spec information... a "Picture is worth a thousand words" there are a lot of very important electrical connections in your computer that all need good clean connections too. B )
