Help with opening files from a flash drive

I used a flash drive to copy files from! My Samsung edge 7. I uploaded them onto my MAC operating system desk top running Yosemite. I see the files but they will not open. Would really appreciate any advice.

The files might be copied incorrectly so now they might be corrupted.
I have some photos that cannot be opened and when I check their properties and it shows that it's size is about 3GB. and I know that it is definitely corrupted.

So, if you still have the files, copy them onto your Mac again and see if it works.

If you can provide photo, then it will be more convenient for me. Thanks.
