Hi, I'm planning on buy a PC in next few weeks. I'm unable to decide if I need a faster processor and/or a dedicated Graphics Card.

So far I'm using my Laptop as main PC. It's a HP ProBook 430 G2 with i5-4210u, 8GB RAM, and 128 mSATA SSD. I use it mainly for Web browsing, Office, and occaisonal programming (C & JAVA).
Almost all the games that I play are on Xbox and the only time I'll be using my PC for gaming will be for Civ 5/6 (<10 hr/month on medium settings @ 1080p).

So my question is: Do I Need a faster CPU (i5-7400) and a dedicated graphics Card (1050ti) or can I just buy Asrock Deskmini 110 and G4560?

PS: Small form factor is important for me since I don't have enough room on/around my desk.

EDIT: My Budget is <500€ but I can also buy non-essential components(Graphics Card/extra RAM stick/addtional storage etc etc) next month. I already got Monitor, Windows, Keyboard and mouse.

Thanks for the reply

1. I'm not going to swap anything on my Laptop. I'm planning to build a new PC.
2. If I buy i5 and 1050ti, I'll be spending extra 300€+. Since I rarely game on my PC, I'm unable to decide if extra Money spend on Hardware is justified.

That's why I'm here and asking for help so I can decide.

Thanks again. :)

You really don't need a better CPU. Just did 60 turns on my G4560 no issues at all. The specs were low but it ran fine. With a dedicated GPU it will be great.
