Hi
Last month i bought a new pc
GPU : GTX950 asus strix
MB : asus z170
cpu: i5 6600
Ram: 16 GB ddr4
power: 700 watt
resolution : 1366*768
on the first week i installed middle earth shadow of mordor. i was getting 70 fps and the game was running perfectly. but after a week i was getting fps drops and the fps was beetween 35 and 50. now all of my game are like this such as Resident evil 7, need for speed most wanted 2, the witcher 3, Hitman , lords of the fallen and ... but some games or not, like doom or quantum break. i get 60 fps on them. I've uninstalled and installed the windows and I tried the games on windows 10,8.1 and 7 but there is no different. I don't know why I can play some Nice games like doom on ultra setting on 60 fps and run a normal game like NFS most wanted on a frame of 35 or 45. if anyone got an idea plz share because this is killing me.

1366x768 is a laptop resolution, correct? 15.6" screen? Do any parts of the laptop feel excessively hot while you're gaming? If so, you might want to take an air duster and blow it through any vents you can find on the bottom of the laptop, and pick up a cooling pad to help keep it cooled.

TIL that there are monitors that run at 1366X768...none of my games offer that as a standard resolution, so I figured it was strictly those 15.6" laptops like the one I used for five years. Temps between 65 and 75 are excellent. What about your CPU temps?

Hmmmmm. Honestly it sounds like something may have overheated during that first week you mentioned, and has been running slow ever since; this could be due to the component in question throttling itself or it could be due to heat damage. Have you run any benchmark or stress test programs since the issues started?

There's a few programs you can use.

CPU:

Prime95, runs all on its own indefinitely (they recommend letting it go for 3 hours minimum) and tells you if something's wrong.

Intel Burn Test, uses the same testing load as Intel hits their CPUs with before they leave the factory. Runs for a very short time, but can raise temperatures higher than Prime95's test.

GPU:

Unigine's Valley test, renders an extremely detailed valley scene to test your GPU's performance.

FurMark, simply forces your GPU to run at max power for a while and gives you the results.

RAM:

MemTest86, a program that you stick on a bootable USB or burn to a CD and run before Windows starts. It'll tell you everything you need to know about your RAM's condition.

ok i used intel burn for CPU and it says that its fine
Then I used engine valley for GPU and on ultra setting with full antialiasing it was 56 FPS avrage
and RAM is working fine

Well I realized it might be a virus. so I installed bitdefender 2017 and updated it. I deleted all the viruses and still get this fps. The strangest issue Iv'e ever had.
