As title says, but here it is in more words. When I put my computer to sleep/hibernate, I'll get the "No signal" from my TV. This is normal but before the TV would just put it's self to sleep a few seconds after the PC. Now the message and The TV will stay awake. This is no problem, as I just turn it off now. However, the real problem is when I try and wake the PC back up again. It will wake itself up as normal but the The TV still says "no signal" with no image coming through. This will hang here for a while then the PC will restart itself. After that I can see the screen again. This happens almost every time I wake the PC now.
Only recent hardware changes is a new GeForce GTX 1060 Video Card.
Before I had two GeForce GTX 550 TI, bridged together. Connected via VGA cable from TV to VGA-DVI-I adapter to one of the cards. Didn't have this problem with those. I updated the Drivers on those cards and they crashed so I replaced them with the 1060.
The 1060 is connected via HDMI. The resolution was cut off around the edges and the colour was too bright, washed out, and too dark. I go on the TV settings and tell it to "fit to screen". Everything is crunched together because the ratio was still 16:9. I purchase a VGA to HDMI adapter and it fixes the colour and ratio but now I'm seeing the "check signal connection" from my TV. I then learn to change the input 'name' to PC and it did nothing from the VGA input. I switch over to the HDMI from TV to Card and change the 'name' to PC and the message is gone. Colour and ratio are all normal again. but this is where I am at now with recovering from sleep.
