Intel® Core™ i7-7700K Processor and corsair vengence lpx ddr4 3200

I have an Alienware aurora with
Intel® Core™ i7-7700K Processor and when I installed my new corsair vengence 3200 ram today everything has been messed up. I've had several blues screen of deaths and my alienware overclocking controls doesnt load right and says my pump failed.... please help meh! I called and the very nice person that had a very strong accent so I could barely understand said the ram isnt compatible that you could only buy 2400mhz, is this true?

Memory Types DDR4-2133/2400, DDR3L-1333/1600 @ 1.35V
Max # of Memory Channels 2
ECC Memory Supported ‡ No

maybe you can still use them but you probably need to downclock...

maybe you can still use them but you probably need to downclock them, or overclock the whole system, not sure tho.
and you need to check the mobo specs to see what it is cappable to do, some times the cpu can still manage higher clocks on ram but the mobo is the one that cant.

so it makes sense you can problably down clock the ram or, see if OC the whole system works, also you need to check the mobo specifications, if it allows for OC and higher clocked ram modules. sometimes the cpu can still manage higher ram clocks but the mobo is the one that cant.
