ive tried to get the drivers installes dor my msi gaming x 1060 6g geforce but everytime ive tried to it says that device comptible not found. there is an 8 pin on the card. is it required to give the motherboard notice that its there. if this is the case my power supply has 2 4pin squares and i am told an adapter for 1 to an 8pin will work. ive tried many diffent things but hoping the community has answers.if needed i will post what i have in the computer as components.please assist me.

You don't need 750w , a 450w is plenty and the PSU has the right connections , no adapters needed.
I usually go with a 550w but it's not needed.
