bios without cpu

I have got z170pro gaming motherboard from Asus and it doesnot support i5 7600k which I need a bios update to run CPU with this mother board.
can a bios boot up without CPU or the CPU I got, to update the bios version.
I mean can I boot bios with a not supported CPU in the mother board.
please help guys
mother board:Asus z170 pro gaming
CPU :i5 7600k

You need a processor to do anything with a board.

I'm not sure that board will do it but I've seen some BIOS recovery features where boards will let you can stick a "SUPER.ROM" onto a USB drive and then use that file to flash the board BIOS even when you had a bad flash. I'd check the manual for "bios recovery" or something along those lines.

Asus does enable updating BIOS without CPU but it varies from board to board. https://rog.asus.com/technology/republic-of-gamers-motherboard-innovations/usb-bios-flashback/

You cannot boot this motherboard without supported CPU.
You cannot update BIOS on this motherboard without CPU.

So in short, you need any SkyLake CPU, put it into motherboard, boot to BIOS, update BIOS, and then you can use your 7600k.

The BIOS chip is socketed on your board. You could send it to a shop which can update it or buy a new BIOS chip which is already flashed.

I would try to get in contact with ASUS, ask kindly for a new BIOS chip
