I'm having trouble with my Ram memory. How do I disable Integrated Graphics to not share memory.
Update: I have Graphics Card.

CPU:AMD A10-5800K APU with Radeon(tm) HD Graphics (4 CPUs), ~3.8GHz
Motherboard:Gigabyte F2A55M-DS2
Ram:4GB DDR3
GPU:AMD Radeon HD 6900 Series
OS:Windows 10 Pro (64-bit)

Also, check that the "Maximum memory" box is unchecked under Boot Advanced Options (Run > type in: msconfig > enter key > Boot tab > Advanced options ), save any changes and reboot.

If this still doesn't help, what is the make and part number of the memory being used?

Is the 4 GB memory just ONE memory module, or is it TWO 2 GB modules?

There is usually a label on memory modules with the manufacturer name on it, as well as the memory part number on the label also.

So who is (or are) the manufacturer(s) of the memory module(s)?

And what are the part numbers of the memory model(s) also?

It is just ONE memory module.

I don't know where to find the part numbers but it is a 4.0GB DDR3 and it says it has 2.1gb harware reserved

Has the module got a label on it? If so the label should have the part number on it.

If there is no label, can you take a close up clear photo of the module (and preferably both sides of the module)?

Failing that, can you at least note the text and number details of printing from one of the memory chips used on the module and post the details here?

Question from Decireth : "1.95gb available ram but 4gb ram installed"

1| When listing your specs, please list them like so:
CPU:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:

2| Within BIOS have you tried to set default graphics to PCIE graphics?

3| If you've installed a discrete GPU in the system properly the onboard GPU(from the APU) automatically disables itself. Which leads me to ask, are you on the latest BIOS revision and are you sure your PSU is up to the task?

I only have one memory. It says on the memory it is an Ovation 4gb ddr3 1333mhz and it says VR491401961 in the bottom.

Thanks for the details of the memory module!

Unfortunately, as this appears to be a "house" or a generic brand of memory, there doesn't seem to be detailed specifications available. So certain parameters can't be checked and confirmed.

However, as mentioned in an earlier post, disable integrated graphics in BIOS (if not already tried). In BIOS set "Integrated Graphics" to Disabled. Save settings and reboot. Refer to page 37 of the motherboard manual for further details.

I already disabled it and it doesn't change anything. I don't know if it's because of my BIOS version. Should I update it to the beta bios?

Yes. But be prepared to downgrade the BIOS in the event the updated BIOS proves to be unstable or otherwise unsatisfactory in computer performance.

Updating BIOS seems to help (in some cases) when system is running Windows 10 64-bit operating system, almost all of the installed memory then becomes available for use.

Hmm. I updated the BIOS and turned off the Integrated Graphics but it still doesn't use all the memory. And it says in BIOS that there is 2048 installed memory.

Check that the APU is mounted evenly. Uneven mounting can cause pin to pad contact issues which in turn can cause other issues such as reduced memory capacity being available.

Check very carefully the memory module and the memory slot for any damage, dirt, dust or debris etc. The contacts should be clean.

I removed and put the memory back again and nothing changed.
