msi z270 pc mate i7 7700k overclock

Hi, if I get a msi z270 pc mate and i7 7700k can I overclock. If I do how much more fps can I get. I will be pairing it with a GTX 1070.

Pretty much 1-3 fps in average, up to about 7 fps in 0.1% lows with a gtx 1080 in 1080p. So with the 1070 I would leave it on stock unless the overclocking itself is what you enjoy. The 7700k already runs at 4.4ghz on all cores under load and shreds games on its stock clock.
