Graphics card in question

I've been using this graphics card for a long time, but the other day it suddenly stopped working while i was playing Dark Souls 3 and my PC just shut down. Whenever i boot up my PC I can tell it boots all the way to the operative system but i have no visuals.

I have no display ports on my motherboard, so the graphics card is the only way to connect any monitors.

I tried plugging the graphics card into another PC capable of handling it, and the problem is the same with the different setup so i can confirm it's not the motherboard

The fans also spin up on boot.

Does anybody have any ideas if it's possible to save this GPU?

Hello... Yes... that was one of my suggestions B ) ... any MB you can plug the Video card in with another Video card will work... the flashing software will identify/read/communicate to it and not affect the other GPU being used.

Any Modern intel CPU will have integrated/CPU graphics... and you could enable it for use with the GPU slot... so you don't have to do this Blind for the first time or use DOS mode commands B D

a local shop could do it for you too fast... if you bring the needed files to them... and maybe you can watch how it is done B /
Hello... 1) Try cleaning the GPU Card connector with rubbing alcohol and a cotton swab... re-insert the card and make sure your Case screw is not pulling the Video card out of the MB slot or mis-aligning it.
2) check to see if your Video card has a backup BIO's switch on it or check to see if the switch is properly set.

Hey, thank you for your reply :)

I've used rubbing alcohol to clean the connectors on the GPU and made sure it is properly conncted and fastened with screws as necessary, but there's no output still.

As for the GPU's bio's switch, i've no idea what to look for, or it probably just doesn't have one

Hello... OK the next thing to TRY bring it back to life is a Firmware flash...

Windows method (installed in a working WIN OS computer).

1) Locate proper BIO's/firmware version.
2) locate Win flasher utility needed.

Dos flashing Method

1) Locate proper BIO's/firmware version.
2) locate DOS flasher utility needed.
3) make USB stick bootable.
4) COPY 1&2 to the stick.
5) Boot... run/type flash command line ( run/create a autoexec.bat if no display )

Typically the firmware version is printed on the back of the card...and/or is listed here. https://www.techpowerup.com/vgabios/

Do you have a integrated GPU or extra video card and MB slot? so you can have a display to do this? because there are WIN utilities to make this easier too... but would also need a display working where the card is plugged in.

It is possible to use someone elses working computer by plugging it into their MB and thus use the NVidia Win utility to send the firmware flash over to it B /

I've checked all PCs in my house and none of them have a port on the MB for integrated graphics. Is it possible to insert the defective graphics card into one of the other connectors alongside a working GPU and have display working that way for easy flashing?
