ill be playing a game and then the screen will just go black saying no signal. the game music will play for a little bit then it will stop, but my tower will stay on including my CPU. i have to manually reset my PC.

I've been on here looking for answers and took some but nothing seems to
be working. i completely dusted out my computer. It says my graphics card is working properly. i also downloaded a program to see what Temp my gpu runs at. idle it runs at 35c (i have not seen what it gets too after playing for a bit because it "crashes"). ive reinstalled the drives and was sure they are up to date. ive deleted unneeded things for more memory. I've defragged my PC. I've checked the fans they are all working. ive even went to my BIOS to turn up my fans RPM. i havent done a registry cleaner program as someone suggested, i think you need to buy one if not that then whats a good one to download for free? i have Webroot so it cant be a virus. i've plugged in a new monitor to see if it was my current ones problem and its not.

Also it varies in times when it will happen. sometimes a hour. sometimes it feels like 10 minutes if that.

ill be playing a game ( The Witcher 3 mostly sometimes even on hearthstone as well ) and then the screen will just go black saying no signal. the game music will play for a little bit then it will stop. i have to manually reset my pc. Also this has only seems to happen while gaming. Never while just browsing websites or watching youtube.

As a side note this has only been happening recently, I'd say max 2 weeks. i put over 100 hours into the witcher before this even started.

Im not super computer savvy. i know somestuff ( i know that doesnt narrow it down ) but i would just like some peoples possible help with this before i give up and spend like $150 just for a repair place to look at it. ( i dont know if thats even fix it too )

This is what i have

Corsair CX600
quad core Intel i7-3770 @ 3.40GHz
installed memory (RAM) 8.00 ( maybe more ram )
Nvidia Geforce GTX 960
Motherboard is a CM6830-07 Asus

sorry for the long post, I'm just exhausted dealing with this.....

Solution
Sounds like PSU failure to me. If you have access to another PSU, it would be good to install it and test.
Another possibility is dying motherboard battery, if it's old.
What operating system do you use? For Windows 10 or 8 go to display adapter properties and set your screen refresh rate manually to your monitors rated one. Sometimes it is auto set as 59 and you have to set it as 60 for example
P.S.: What cable and what monitor do you use?

It's HDMI and Windows 8

Check the refresh rate. Maybe you should also try another hdmi cable. Are the connections firm?
