Hey, recently bought a new pc, Lenovo H5055 A8 Desktop - Black I just bought it for casual gaming, such as playing rust on fastest graphics and a fairly low res, however i only manage to get like 15 fps in game. Even on my old pc which had same amount of ram but a 1gb graphics card instead of a 2gb one, I used to get 40 or more fps. Have i made a bad decision, I have already installed the Microsoft word, excel and power point key on it, so i don't know what to do. Is it a problem with the graphics card drivers or is it just a shit motherboard, please I need help!!!

Solution
I'm going to be brutally honest here, I would return ASAP if you still can. Unless you bought it for very cheap.
The CPU is an APU which has an AMD R7 GPU inside, then you have another very weak GPU installed. I'd guess that GeForce GTX 720 isn't much better than the iGPU that your CPU has inside it, if it is any more powerful at all. The graphics card is completely redundant.
AMD has already released Ryzen, you don't have a viable upgrade path with that motherboard.
You can get a Ryzen 1400 with 8gb RAM and a rx 460, which will be way more powerful than this PC, find out the price for these parts and compare.

Holy mother of god! I just saw how much you paid for it. I would return it ASAP mate. And no, that doesn't run games well.

what should I do, i bought it from harvey norman with a buch of other things like keyboard mouse and screen, i allready put the microsoft office key on it, is it possible to return for a refund, only had it for one day. The man there said it will run games pretty well. Or am i screwed?

Really he did? Well, if he had Solitaire or Miner in mind, then yes, it will run those games pretty well. Others ... well, you've seen it with your own eyes.
I don't know if you can deactivate MS software or how, but I guess it is possible.

Find out where your local MSY is for PCs or PC parts.

Wouldn't even worry about deactivating Windows. Not sure what your consumer rights are like in Aus but in the UK we have 30 days to return for full refund (excluding delivery charges), with finance you usually only get 14 days to cancel too so that can complicate things if you are in that 14-30 day period. I'd say you we're mislead, that is not a gaming PC in any form and was massively overpriced.

Aussie consumer protection is pretty good: https://www.accc.gov.au/consumers/consumer-rights-guarantees/consumer-guarantees

The product must "be fit for the purpose the business told you it would be fit for and for any purpose that you made known to the business before purchasing". Pretty sure OP is well covered if the seller mentioned gaming in any shape or form

I would return the whole lot on principle, even if you buy the same elsewhere.

Edit: This isn't your fault mate, so don't blame yourself.

Thank you so much guys, was my first time on Toms hardware and you guys really saved my ass, only other question is if someone who knows more about computers than I do would be able to tell me some parts that would be a good gaming computer for $1000 or less aud. Thanks again sooo much guys, really helped me out

Yeah mate not fit for purpose + throw the words consumer guarantee in there = refund

Nothin scarier to a lowly store employee than a consumer who knows their rights
