hi to start of with my settings
Gpu : Amd Sapphire Hd 7800
Cpu : Amd Phenom II x2 560
Mobo : 970 pro gaming aura
Ram : 16G
I used to be able to play Battlefield 1 in high settings without one stuttering or problem with fps
Games like Ark survival evolved ran ok on high setting with lag spikes when buildings needed to render, so i am aware that it could not run all things just as good, but other new games ran perfectly. Now even minecraft 1.8 has trouble rendering on my system and is getting lag spikes even there.
I do have to note that i had to rebuild, i had a powersurge in my last build and the mobo and cpu were fried, I have purchased the same cpu and i am able to use the very same gpu card, only the mobo is of a different model now, the mobo i had before Was Corshair III Formula.
I dont know if its the mobo that is causing the problem or the gpu itself, in its working state it could do all things i described, so my worry is if the gpu is damaged in some way by the powerrsurge.
Or are my drivers to blame and should i just try and reinstall?
