Just wondering if anyone can shed some light as to where exactly these sensors (MARKED IN RED) are located?

I could find only sensors for next gen of your motherboard. They have marked it there, look for section fan xpert 3. As for what name sensor have, idk. https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/MAXIMUS-VIII-RANGER/

There are circles in red i have drawn on screenie..........

Behind those Monitoring windows in the screenie is the FanXpert app, it only shows Cpu, Motherboard & Sensor 1 (Which is an optional sensor) marked N/A

Mmmm...... ok.......

I feel bit silly now.

After some experimenting Ive decided those two higher temps are readings from a bank of capacitors or similar.

These temps GO DOWN when cpu is at load, so obviously the power & thus the heat, is then transferred to the required component area on the power/system.

Oops lol
