Hi,

I am planning on buying the following components for my custom gaming pc: https://pcpartpicker.com/user/Andrewwang/saved/4wvQ7P

My question is, should I get a liquid cooling system?

I do not mind the sound (unless it is incredibly loud). However, I do mind the price. If a liquid cooling system isn't *that* much better, than I would love to save $300-$600. I also do not plan to OC anything.

Thanks!

I don't siggest getting a closed loop AIO or custom lopp but I suggest a better air cooler since the 212 Evo is a budget option. The Cryorig H7 suggested is a good choice but you could go with one of the best air coolers on the market which is close to a closed loop AIO in performance but much quiter: bequiet Dark Rock Pro 3. I own this cooler and it is very silent and keeps the cpu cool although it was difficult to install (I installed the cooler on the mobo out of the case). Also, such a cooler requires low profile RAM (I went with Corsair Vengeance LPX) as it covers some RAM slots.

If he keeps the LED memory, I too recommend it. I just gave another, more functional option as opposed to an aesthetic one. P.S. The Dark Rock Pro 3 looks very good but you won't see the RAM.
