Hi there,
I have just set up my first overclock and have a couple questions I would like to ask.

Using the Intel Extreme Tuning Utility I am clocking my i5 4690K to 4.3 GHz with 1.170V. The highest temperature I saw during stress tests was 74C, however after a long gaming session I noticed it reached 78C. So since then I manually keep my fans at 100% when gaming and now I don't get above 71C, which I'm happy with.

My first question is with regards to the cache ratio. Most people say to either have it in line with your core ratio or to have it slightly under. I set mine to 4.2 GHz, so 100MHz under, is this a good level? How important is it?

My second question is about the cache voltage. I initially set it to 0.025V below my core voltage, which was recommenced online, however my PC crashed and when I opened my software it changed it to 1.080V (which may have been the default). Since then I have kept it at this level and haven't experienced any further crashes. Should I leave it here? How much does it matter?

Hope you are able to help. Cheers.

I know this guide is for a Gigabyte motherboard, but it will give you an idea of all the questions you are asking, great guide that I used myself when I had a Haswell CPU: http://www.overclock.net/t/1401976/the-gigabyte-z87-haswell-overclocking-oc-guide

Core cache ratio by the way in that guide is uncore, there are some templetes towards the end of the guide that will give you good starting points too if you're not sure.
