just bought new computer and poor fps

I'm running a i5 processor with gtx970 graphics card and 10 64 bit windows and I'm games like overwatch I'm getting only 15 fps on lowest settings, I feel like I shoul dbe getting way more than that? can anyone help me out? its a brand new computer

You should not connect monitor to motherboard - connect it to gtx970.

Plug your monitor into the GPU NOT the motherboard. If you plug into the motherboard it will use the I5 internal GPU, which is slower.

Does your graphics card have a six-pin or eight-pin socket on it? If so, is there a power cord plugged into that socket?
