Can i use a SCSI RAID controller with PCI interface on a motherboard that has a LGA 775 CPU and use the SCSI RAID controler to run only a tape drive? I have windows 2000 running and i finally got the 5.25 floppy reading and writing now all that is left for me is to get the tape drive running!

I'm not so sure that you will get a tape drive running via a RAID controller. Even if it did detect, I don't know if I'd trust it. It would be better to have the tape drive connected to a non-RAID SCSI controller.

What if I could change the card? Because the main problem that I agree with u luke is it is a Raid card, but it also has its own bios which I'm not use to how theses thing work but hear me out. Do you think that if i played with the jumpers i could get it only to search for 1 HD? because when it boots currently its going through the MOtherboard bios, then the cards bios, then it tells me it cannot find 6 of the harddrives, my question is if i make it look for just one by playing with the jumpers i could get it to work?
