New motherboard. All boots up then shuts down.

I just got a new motherboard the gigabyte H110M DS2 DDR3 version and I put all my components in it as they should be. But when I turn my pc on all of the fans start up then shut down after about 5 seconds and this continues until I cut the power to the psu. Not sure if Orange lights in bottom left of MB have anything to do with it. Also it isn't any of my other parts as I tried them all with my old motherboard and that still works. Does this mean my new motherboard is faulty?

The Kaby Lake i3 isn't compatible with the H110 motherboard because the board doesn't have an updated BIOS to support it. You need a Skylake CPU to update it or send it back and get a B250 board. Those are your only 2 options.

but I just looked on the gigabyte website and it says that my cpu is compatible with that motherboard.

Also I put my old motherboard back in and now with both motherboards my monitor will say no signal and power off when I boot up the pc.
