Computer turning off and on

So my computer turns on like usual with the regular BIOS boot up screen. Then all of a sudden I see the BIOS menu even though I never pressed delete to get to it. Plus the menu is distorted and only my hard drive for boot up could be seen alongwith the logo and CPU data that is shown like this. XXXXk-XX. I tried to press escape and leave but it goes right back to it. So I tried pressing restart on my case and it starts the cycle of turning off and turning back on again all on it's own. Now I can't use my computer. I don't think it's my power supply and I hope that I don't have to replace anything. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Solution
clear your cmos by moving around the headers. from positon 1 2 to 2 3 for a minute and then put the header back into 1 2 position.
if you are uncomfortable with that remove the round battery in mobo leave it out for an hour and put it back.
is there a hard drive connected to your computer and did you ever install any os if you did connect it to your computer?

well have you cleared t he mos yet? and why do you have 8x4GB? do you mean 4x8gb? If you do have 4x8, and clear cmos don't work, just take out 3 of them dimms sticks and try start with only one stick of ram.
