Hello everybody.
Well - the title says it all - I'm wondering if I can use GTX 980 4GB GPU with ATX 12v1.3 (850w) PSU. The problem is - the PSU has only one 6-pin PCIe connector. I found 6-pin to dual 8-pin (my GTX 980 requires two 8-pin connectors) and I was wondering - could it work?
I would've bought a new PSU, but spent all the money on 980.
If it makes any difference - I was using GTX 960 before.

Specs:
MSI h81m-e33 moba
i5 4460
8 gb DDR 3 Vengeance RAM
MSI GTX 980 4GB
ATX 12v1.3 850w PSU

Thanks.

If your power supply has only a single 6 pin PCIe adapter, it may be labeled "850W", but it is NOT capable of producing that much power. If you have a modular power supply and don't have the appropriate cables, then it is a different story and you need to contact the power supply manufacturer to purchase additional PCIe power cables.
