I built this pc about a year ago and since I've experienced these freeze ups and requires a hard reset, but it's slowly got worse over time. It occurs when I'm playing games such as Outlast 2, CSGO and even Sims 4, rendering videos with sony vegas pro, and streaming to twitch+gaming with OBS. It appears this only happens when the pc is under stress or working hard. I've monitor the pc temps and it appears the pc freezes up when my cpu is around 75C (which doesn't seem it should cause a lock up) and the GPU doesn't seem to have an issue because it doesn't "use" the fans to the full extent, but the highest it's got 78C. I've ran/tried the following things to fix the issue:
- Resetting BIOS
- Different Hard drive
- Using MSI Afterburner to run GPU fans at 100% (still crashed w/ low GPU temps)
- Prime 95 to run CPU (didn't experience a freeze issue after CPU Cache & CPU Memory Test)
- Checked event logs (No errors - Only said Windows didn't shut down properly)
- Cleaned PC
- Replaced Thermal Paste
- Replaced PC fans (Front Intakes, One on the top of case Exhausts, one on the back of case Exhausts, and CPU cooler blows towards back exhausting fans.)
- Disk Check (No error)
- Windows Memory Diagnostics (No error)
- Ran Malware & CCcleaner (No errors/finds)
- Updated Drivers
- System file checker

All help is appreciated because I am ready to fix this! haha Thank you.
