I recently built a new pc with these specs:
core i5 7600k
g1 gaming gtx 1070
16gb 2400mhz ddr4 ram
aorus z270 gaming k5
h80i cpu cooler
550w 80+ psu
With just a few things open, like steam, chrome etc the cpu usage thing in task manager says around 40%, with those few apps usually taking up around 7-10% of the cpu each. When I open rainbow six siege for example, just in the menus, the cpu usage goes up to around 75% and then 100% consistently in game. A few of my friends have the same cpu and say they get around 60% max in the same game with similar settings and pc specs. This seams reeeally unusual. I only get around 60fps in the game usually at 1080p and it's not a particularly demanding game. Could the cpu be a bottleneck?
