Gigabyte mother board continuos beeping. Checked other forums and couldn't find reason for beeping; some say psu some say ram some say cpu fan. IT started one day after I occupied all 4 memory slots with different memory sizes. (2x8 and 2x4, both g. Skill rip jaws.) Was testing the 2x8 sticks to see if they worked. I booted up once and they all worked. I'm 95% sure the 2x4 gb sticks work but none of them are working on any of the slots.

Specs: amd a6-6400k with stock cooler
Gigabyte f2a78m-d3h
2x4 ddr3 2400mhz (overclocked)
2x8 ddr3 1600mhz (both ram sticks were 1600 mhz at time of testing)
Tr2 430watt power supply

I believe only AWARD BIOS' have a continuous beep, and it's a RAM error. The fact you have mixed modules, and the problem started from there pretty much confirms it.

You say some work, but now nothing works in any slot?

Can you try a single module (ideally the 1600MHz single 8GB module). Does it post with just that installed?
