Recently I have been getting a fairly quiet but is very noticible buzzing in my headphones whilst tabbed into WoW. To add to that the buzzing noise gets much louder in high FPS areas, but when i look up at the sky or floor the buzzing goes away, very weird. Any thoughts/solutions? It could have something to do with the recent Nvidia driver update 2 days ago

No, it's the inductors on your GPU. You might want to search for a way to remove the coil whine, or if you can, send the card back and get a new one.

That must be coil whine, which will emit enough electrical interference that your motherboard's audio section picks it up and transmits it through the motherboard. The actions I would take would either have to be to plug into the front panel headers on your case, or find a way to shield the audio section.

It could be, so try running a game and getting to a place where you hear the most buzzing in your headphones, then take off your side panel and get close to different parts with your ear. I would bet it would be the GPU, but it could also be the PSU.
