Ok so I'm a photographer / videographer so right off the back I do quite a bit of editing day to day. I've recently gotten into pc games mainly Player Unknown battleground and want to get into streaming which I have for about a year console gaming but have ditched it for pc gaming. What I use right now is a Lenovo Y510p Ideapad . Intel i7-4702MQ @ 2.20GHZ 16gb ram dual Nvidia Geforce GT 750M. (I know not Ideal) Not the best for the game graphics wise but can run it as for editing the software which is all Adobe programs I'd like to run faster and smoother. I don't know a whole bunch about Pcs but have been trying educating myself and doing my research. I more or less know what's best but don't have the budget for it just at the moment but will upgrade towards it in time. I'd prefer to stick within a $1500 budget if lower then even better but I want to be able to play Pc games around Medium/High quality with at least 60 fps.
I definitely want a i7-7700k with 16gb ram I have a few motherboards picked out but for everything else needed I'd like if someone more advanced could help me out... Thanks in advance!!

P.S. I'm trying to get things together sooner then later so I would be purchasing from Best Buy, Amazon, or New Egg I live in Massachusetts

16 threads for editing/streaming? Check.
3TB for plenty of photos/videos? Check.

This pc will do everything you need, and probably a lot of things you want, too.

I recommend a monitor with Freesync for gaming (cheaper than G-sync, another reason i went with the 580) as well as 144hz. The AOC G2460PF is perfect for that, and has decent colors, for $200. I should know, as I own one and am about to order 2 more.

i think the AMD ryzen r7 is better suited to your needs if you wish to get into live streaming and video/photo editing etc. i am not saying the i7 is a bad choice but you'll likely benefit from the extra cores and threads of the ryzen r7.

I agree with Echo on the build. Although i would consider a ryzen 7 if you are heavy into video editing. If it's more of a casual thing, then the ryzen 5 is perfect.
