Today some guys from Comcast updated our equipment. I was told my internet speed would 75mbps now.
I tested my speed a few days ago and it was 9 ping, 30 down and 6 up.
Today I tested it after we got the new equipment and it's 9 ping, 10 down and 5 up. All of those tests were on my PC with a wired connection.
I then decided to test it from my phone today on Wi-Fi. I go 9 ping, 30 down and 5 up. 20 mbps faster than my PC that has a wired connection. Makes no sense at all. I made sure that nothing was using up my internet as well. Double check background processes as well
I'm afraid it may be an issue with my motherboards Ethernet ports, could that be it? Idk I kinda doubt it. I will say that my 2nd Ethernet port on my mobo won't connect. It will just say "unidentified network"..
Anyway if any of you could help me that would be great, I know nothing about networking sorry for my ignorance.
