Just brought a Strix 1080ti OC GPU and it keeps crashing at random times leaving a colourful splash on my monitor screen. Any help would be great thanks. Specs 16GB vengeance led 3000Mhz DDR4 ram, CPU i7 7700k, 850 watt corsair power supply, Asus strix z270e motherboard. windows 10 64 bit. Monitor veiwsonic 1080 144hz.

Did you Overclock anything? Especially the gpu? If so, it seems to me like an unstable OC.
Also, check if the display connector (I guess you are using displayport?) is properly connected to the monitor and gpu (also try another cable as the cable could be faulty). Make sure that both gpu power cables are properly connected in the GPU and PSU. When does the crashing occur more often? While gaming or even at idle gpu usage? The gpu can be faulty but eliminate every option first.

Update: If you tried it in another pc I think the card is faulty (but still try it with another display cable as suggested in both pc's)

If you tried it on another PC and the problem is still the same, then the GPU may be damaged, maybe got damaged in the shipping. I would contact Asus and see what they got to say.

Same card, same problem here. I had to send it back immediately, now I'm afraid to buy the same card again. Hope it was just a bad luck to get a defective one.
