I wanted to buy a custom laptop, where you can chose if you will Windows 10/Win 10 pro or no OS. I prefer Windows 7 at 10, so can I install it on this laptop? If yes (since I heard i7 processors work better with Win 10), will it bottleneck my cpu/gpu? Thanks in advance and sorry for my bad English

If I'm not mistaken, Kaby Lake (7000 series) will not work with Windows 7. Maybe someone else can verify this.

Honestly, Windows 10 Pro is not bad, in fact it has some great improvements. If you are using Home, then I would agree. But the Pro version is really good and does a great job at management. Haven't had a single problem yet.

What does home do different?

Bitlocker, remote desktop, and Hyper-V. I know most users don't use these features, but I use this for work and my business, so it's important to me. I am not sure about deferring updates, but I know Pro has the ability to defer them. Other than that, it's pretty much the same.

Oh not calling the Home edition bad, but again it's useful for me if I had Pro. Overall, after the 1607 update, Windows 10 is truly a great operating system.
