Pc won't turn on

Yesterday my computer suddenly turned off while I was playing overwatch when I looked in my computer the power supply was really hot so I waited till the next day and when I tried to boot up the lights on my fans flicker once and that's it. I think my power supply died bc I just upgraded my parts two days before that.

I have a amd fx 8350, gtx 1060, 8gb ddr3, MSI AM3 V X16 2D3 M16 GL R MATX, 1 tb toshiba hard drive, and this 500w power supply that I don't know what brand it even is.

Hi again - Most likely the PSU is the culprit, but please look inside the case and post the info from the label affixed to the side of the PSU. Really need to know that.

Hi again - Even tho a decent quality 500w unit is sufficient for that system, it appears that it degraded enough
that it blew while trying to power that sys with a gtx 1060.

Look for good quality 500- 550w PSU. Post models you may be interested on the forum if you're
not sure of the quality of units you might select.
