So it turns out the boot issues im been complaining about lately on here have been because my computer decided to make an HDD a boot drive instead of my Samsung SSD.

If i select the SSD as the highest priority in the boot order my computer will not start and only gives me a "No boot drive detected" message.

I didn't even know this was possible.

Can i get my computer to recognize the SSD as a boot drive again or should i reinstall windows or something?...

Thanks

Hello... Yes... any extra drives will/can be added after the the NEW install is complete... By doing this the drives will remain 'Hot pluggable" and not forever tied or cross contaminated with the OS install...

BUT some games may need to be re-installed for ALL shortcuts and internet security/disk access/program files that get stored during the installs in the NEW/Boot OS Drive... There is an "Order" to things... first OS, drivers, Games/apps, for all things to run/communicate between them.

***Do you have an OS installed on the HD?.... as a "Simple Test" remove the SSD and just Boot to the HD. B / maybe a "SSD Clone utility" would be your best option here? to avoid having to re-install them B /

If i reinstall onto the SSD, I'll be able to hook my other drives back up and keep the games that were stored on them, correct?

Haven't had issues like this before
