Did I choose the correct PSU?

Hi

So I'm gathering kit to build my next PC. I'm aiming towards Ryzen, probably 1600(x). Over the past few weeks Ive been picking up bits as they come on sale. The target PC is going to be something like the following.

Case: Phanteks Enthoo Luxe Tempered glass edition
MB: B350/X370 (undecided at this time)
CPU: Ryzen 1600 or X (possibly push up to 1700...)
Storage: Samsung 960 Evo M.2 250gb
500GB samsung EVO SSD
500 GB HDD
GPU: MSI Gaming X 1070
Optical Drive: DVD R/W
PCIE: ASUS WLAN (I forget the model)
AIO: Either Corsair H115 or NZXT Kraken x62
FANS: 4-5 x 140mm
Periphials: Mechanical Keyboard - Wired - Non RGB
Logitech G900 Mouse (occasionaly attached by wire)
CH Products Throttle
CH products Pedals
VKB Black Mamaba Joystick
Roccat Ampuri USB hub
Other USB 2 hub
OTHERS: 1m LED light strip

I'll not be using the PC more than 8 hrs per day.

So I put the above, best I could, into some online PSU calculators and they are typicaly advising on a 650W PSU. So I went with an EVGA G2 fully modular 80 Plus Gold.

However, Im starting to doubt my decision as I'd like to get into overclocking and possibly upgrading GPU and CPU in the future.

I will not be making use of SLI or Crossfire - so single GPU all the way.

Also, Im not fully commited to Ryzen yet and could swing to intel Kaby lake/coffee lake.

Can I get some advice on whether choosing 650W was a good call?

If theres any more info you need, let me know.

Best regards
AJ

650w is fine for system and G2 is a great PSU.

Now some thoughts on rest of your system.

If not going to SLI/crossfire then x370 is not really going to provide you wiht anything more then b350 will.
Water cooling with AIO coolers has very minimal gains over air coolers, not near enough to justify spending double.
If you cant connect via ethernet, checkout av1000 (or faster) powerline adapters over wifi cards. These are not only faster then real world wifi speeds but less ping/latency which is far more important for gaming or real time applications.

Thanks for the replies.

@boosted1g
I used powerline adapters for years, and found I was maxing out at about 34mbs (im paying for 50mbs) with 5-15ms ping. I recently updated my wireles router and got the WLAN and am now gettings 56+ mbs consistently with 5 15ms ping on the 5ghz band. Probabaly old wiring in my house etc limiting what the poweline adapters could give me.

For the AIO, probably more asthetics here, though I do take on you comments on price.
For MB, similar comments to AIO, though B350 is mostly likley what ill do.

This is also a bit of a project for me, so willing to spend a bit more for a great looking PC, though I appreciate it wont necessarily equal performance gains in all cases.

Thanks
AJ
