I'm looking for some advice on a GPU upgrade. I currently have the EVGA GeForce GTX 1050Ti 4GB ACX 2.0 Video Card. I've been looking at the EVGA GTX 1060 6GB SC Gaming Video Card and wondering if it is worth the money. I'm looking to spend around $150-$250. Any advice would be appreciated. Well, the 1060 6gb is a better card, it's just a shame you bought the 1050 Ti to start with. Unless you can sell it and get a good price, buying a 1060 now is like paying a penalty for not planning ahead.

Is it worth the money? I'd say so. Assuming you prefer Nvidia, you're not going to find anything better at that price.

Buying a GTX 1060 now is like paying GTX 1070 prices for 1060 performance, which is only a slight upgrade. I suggest you keep your GPU, either upgrade significantly to a GTX 1080 for US$500 (its cheaper now than 1080 Ti replaces its US$700 price point) or wait for GTX 2000 series "Volta".

For video editing, streaming and Minecraft you want a CPU upgrade. Using the same R7 370, the new Ryzen 7 1800X/ Core i7 6900K obtained 500-800 FPS in Minecraft survival mode, on the same map, the FX 4350 only manages 150-250 FPS. And when recording, the i7 6900K shows no sign of even an FPS drop.
