HP Speakers not working

Speakers not working when I installed windows 10, reinstalled windows 7, still not working speakers show as "speakers and headphones" in playback devices, also no noises coming from bios.
earphones work fine, speaker bar shows they are working

Hello... Use the sound card/chip APP in Control panel to "re-task" the case/MB connectors as a speaker/headphone connector.

Typically you can right click the connecter icon to change it to something/anything else... Sometimes if you plug into the wrong connector while the OS/computer is on, the software will adjust or change that connector to the device you plugged in. B /

Use SOUND-playback app in the control panel to enable or disable multi devices and outputs... in the OS.

You change your physical Input/Output functions, on your MB and Case using the sound card/chip APP.
