Like the title says, I'm looking for help overclocking my 1080ti win gpu tweak two.. I know it's the oc edition, but I also know it can be pushed a tad further, looking for a guide to do so, please let me know if you guys have any suggestions,

Thanks in advance.

The software is mostly personal preference on the interface as they function basically the same way. I would set the the power limit to 120%. For the core clock I like to add +15, test, and repeat until I crash or artifact. Once that happens I lower the clock by 5 at a time until stable. For the memory you can probably start at +250 and step up 50 at a time. Increasing voltage can also a bit with stability depending on you particular chip, for me it did nothing so left voltage stock.
You should try trye overclocking the gpu(I use MSI afterburner because it also monitors temepratures) keep a eye on the temeprature and make sure it doesn't get too hot, and find the limit of your Card.
You can't really make a guide for the Card, because it also depents on the airflow in your case and your mobo.
Hope this answers your question
The Card also powers off if it gets too hot, so it shouldn't be able to damage your gpu(You still need to be careful, as it sometimes gets too hot without powering off depending on your mobo )

Just curious, why use msi afterburner when my card is an by ASUS, gpu tweak II now incorporates cpuid-z to monitor temperatures and such, I also run hwinfomonitor.. when playing games I run a second monitor displaying these temperature along with general system numbers

If I stress test with burnin test, how long would you recommend running before considering stable, sorry sorta new to ocerclocking gpus
Lastly yes my desktop says 1060, it's hard coded and I just haven't changed the text

Hey, what would you suggest as a "good" overclock? Presently I'm using 3dmark for my stress test/benchmark with gputweak at +145 on my core boost clock and still passing as I raise, just wanting to make sure I'm not doing something wrong.
Thanks once again in advance.

EDIT it's up to 01842 for core clock

Weird thing I'm noticing with 3D mark by the way.. so I'm upping the boost clock by "one +" maybe two (like up by 8 at a time maybe 16 at most).. anyways, I run stress test after applying it'll fail instantaneously, then ill run benchmark it'll run no problem then I'll rerun the stress test exactly like I did prior to the benchmark test but now it runs and passes with flying colors.. is this just a glitch since I purchased via steam like a moron?

still adding, but hows it looking so far? How high is safe on the voltage and target power?

EDIT if you have a gpu tweak image, or if you could list your settings I'd greatly appreciate the reference point so i don't keep thinking I'm a moron and overdoing my gpu's OC.

Voltage is a percentage of a very small value allowed by the bios so no issue using 100 but I would save that for the final step. Add voltage did nothing for my car so I left it at 0. I would lower voltage to 0 for now and max power target to 120. Increasing the power target will make you boost clock increase under load so you might have to dial the boost clock value back if you have stability issues.

I run +45 on core clock, 0 voltage, +350 memory, 120 on power target, Fan on Auto. Actual boost clock peaks at 2050 and temps under 72c.

Yeah I'm going up ~10 at a time each time running benchmark(time spy) and stress test(fire strike).. so far passing with ~98.7% stable, still pushing further, just wanted to make sure I was doing this properly. Power targets at 100+10 ATM memory at +250

Figured out it wasn't the clock that was causing it, can't seem to get the power target stable after 110, apparently a common issue, dropped down and still passing at 1970, stress test states 98.9% stable.. gonna start up again after work.
Krells, thank you for the help, very much appreciated. I'll let you know how high I'm able to get.
