Lost XMP profile after flashing new BIOS?

After flashing a newer BIOS version the XMP option no longer shows up in the BIOS and the SPD information in CPU-Z seems to have changed with a couple of the sticks no longer having a XMP profile. Before the flash I was running at 1866 across all 4 sticks but now only 3 of them retained the XMP profiles. If anyone has any information on what caused this or what can be done that would be great.

Gigabyte 970-A DS3P Rev 1.0 (Bios Version F2j, was on F1 before)

This happened to me recently on a Gigabyte motherboard, AB350m Gaming 3, I contacted Gigabyte who p[retty much blamed the ram and told me to send it back, so I got the ram replaced, flashed the bios again and the same thing happened yet again, so I brought a new board, and MSI B350m Mortar, not had an issue since, I think Gigabyte have messed there recent bios releases up, I sent the Gigabyte board back and got a refund.

First, after you flashed your BIOS did you do a full CMOS clear and reconfigure your BIOS from scratch? That's recommended.

Second, why'd you update your BIOS? Were you experiencing a problem? If not, and you did it just to do it, I suggest just rolling it back. Different BIOSs can play differently with RAM. Once you find a BIOS that's working with your hardware and you're stable, stick with it unless there's some awesome new feature in a different BIOS that you really want.
