Hello. Im upgrading some components for my PC. I double checked on pcpartpicker that all parts are compitable with each other and i get this message:
"Some Intel B85 chipset motherboards may need a BIOS update prior to using Haswell Refresh CPUs. Upgrading the BIOS may require a different CPU that is supported by older BIOS revisions."
I replaced the CPU with my current CPU and got the same message. I have no problems with anything using my current CPU so will that mean that if i upgrade to the i7- 4790k (which is the same gen that i have now (i3- 4150) everything will work fine?

Here is my build btw: https://pcpartpicker.com/user/AndersGjerde/saved/chydCJ

Sorry if i made this kinda messy but im tired xD

Solution
It depends on what version of Bios you currently have, you may not have the latest one which supports Haswell Refresh CPU's. If you use your i3 and update to the latest Bios version, you won't have any issues when installing the i7.
