i mix and matched two different sets of ram not knowing the consequences. the time i booted up with mix and matched ram, i entered bios to find one of the ram sets werent recognized. but they both ran at default frequencies: 1600mhz. after i shut down through the start menu, none of the rams would be recognized by the motherboard. is there a way to fix this or is my ram/motherboard broken?

p.s i really want my motherboard to be broken rather than the memory because i dont have warranty on one of the sets.

I would try using just one set of memory. You should generally never mix and match ram for reasons like these. I am guessing your board is not damaged, shouldn't be, but You likely can't run both sets of memory. You need all memory to be same make and model.
