Any cpu upgrade suggetions?????

Solution
If you want a PC to load faster, then it's an SSD as a boot drive (C drive) you ought to be looking at and not a CPU upgrade. When the OS is loading it has to go through all those necessary files which are on the boot drive. Any SSD would effectively show how slow a mechanical HDD is by comparison.

And if you're intent on a better CPU, then you'll be disappointed. The x4 880k is the highest clocked CPU for FM2+ socket, which has been superceded by AM4; so there are no CPU upgrades you can make. A new CPU would require a new motherboard and (highly likely) RAM.

As for a quieter PC, may depend on your fan settings if you set up your PC that way. You could also get an aftermarket CPU cooler which often perform better than the stock cooler.
