Yesterday my screen went black during browsing and 2 or 3 seconds later i couldnt move my mouse anymore (on a second screen). This problem keeps occuring at random times after startup (sometimes up to 20min later, but usually within a few minutes, sometimes even before i get to Desktop).

My specs:
CPU: i5-3570K (Cooler:Thermalright HR.02 Macho rev. B)
Ram: 2x8gb g-skill Ares
GPU:Sapphire R9 280x Dual X
PSU: Thermaltake "Munich" 430W
Mobo: AsRock B75m-gl r2.0
OS: Windows 7 64bit
i have 1 128GB SSD and 1 1TB HDD, but im not sure of the models.

1.At first i thought the problem might be software related as a bit earlier Radeon Crimson informed that a new driver could be downloaded, so i used the amd driver remover and DDU to deinstall my graphics drivers and installed the newest drivers.

2.As the Problem kept occuring i tried another older Driver (version 16.12) , but this changed nothing. So i updated my BIOS to version 1.60, which didnt change anything.

3.To rule out other Software problems i booted up an Ubuntu Live system i had lying around, but some time Later this crashed as well, with the same symptoms.

4.I removed my graphics card, which leads to the system running just fine, or at least it did so for a few hours.

5. I then borrowed a similar computer from a friend and exchanged the video cards, his Sapphire R9 280x Vapor X produces the same issues in my computer, while my card works just fine in his.

6. Afterwards i removed both cards and ran memtest over night on my computer and no errors occured and in the morning i ran Prime95 for half an hour which didnt produce any issues as well.

7. I then considered the PSU as the Culprit, so i wired his PSU up to my PC in a minimum setup, with just CPU, RAM and an SSD, which worked fine. I then added my GPU and the issues stared occuring again.

8. I plucked my GPU into the secondary PCIe slot of the board without changing the rest of the system, but this didnt change anything as well.

9.Right now im running my GPU, RAM and SSD in my friends PC, which is running stable.

After this steps im guessing by exclusion principle, that my motherboard is the issue, but i wouldn`t know how to test this theory. I hope someone can help me wit this problem :)

Ps. Maximum temperatures for the GPU in my friends PC is 71°C during Furmark GPU stress test and something a bit lower than that when i tried running Furmark to check if the issue occured during load as well, which it did after around 5min and 59°C for the CPU after half an hour of Prime 95.

The only decent 530watts afaik will you find with Be Quiet,if one of those would it be something else, otherwise might it still be an issue with power delivery.

Other thing to do would be to check the bios, see if you have the latest.Maybe even reflash it.
You could try a clear cmos, but fail to see what that might do for you.

Since the pc is working fine without the R9 do i see no problem with the motherboard,or the pcie slot is damaged, but since neither is working well do i still think it's some kind of power delivery fault.

Not a psu you want a system like that running on and from what i read is it imo the culprit here.

I put the working PSU from my friends PC (some 530W, but im not sure what modell) into mine, which didn´t change anything compared to when i was running my own PSU.
