High Stock Temperature

If i put liquid metal instead of thermal paste between the cpu and my cooler(fan cooling), will it help to cool my cpu ? I dont want to delid. I use ZALMAN CNPS8X OPTIMA HIGH PERFORMANCE and when I play WoW it goes over 80 Celsius(room temp:23c) with no overclocking.I7 7700K STOCK!

it will help with heat transfer thats all, those temps are a bit high though, sounds like the cooler isnt quite mounted correctly (flat) or you've used too much TIM.

I ll check for misplacing errors,if its all ok is there a possibility my cpu to overclock by itself when needed.

I think it turbos upto 4.5ghz, stock is 4.2ghz.
