Does higher end GPU's overheat CPU's?

I just got a new pc with a i7 4790k but I put my GTX1060 in it but I never looked at heat temps but then I got a GTX1080ti and I see my CPU temps hitting 100c on all cores. I don't know if my CPU AIO is dead or dying. I don't have the GTX1060 to test... The no name AIO (Is clean) right now makes a fast light clicking sound in idle at 30c. When I play a game like wildlands or dying light, the cpu hits 100c but if I play a game like tera, it peaks to mid 70s. At 80c+ the AIO makes a other sounds like errrr berrrrrr sounds. Also, if I take the side panel off, the AC in my room keeps temps in said games to 80-90c.

i7 4790k: Not OC that I know of.
GTX1080ti: Max GPU temp was 73c in said games
1080p 60hz monitor: lol, I'm saving for a 1440p 144hz so don't tell me lol...

CPU and GPU coolers are separate and do not touch each other, so there's no direct way for the video card to transfer heat to the CPU. However, if you have poor case airflow, they can raise the temperature of the air in your case, which can affect the temperature of both.

My guess is that your CPU temperature issue is not related to your video card, however. Given that you're hearing sounds from your AiO, I would suggest replacing it. Something like the $35 Cryorig H7 would probably be better anyway - AiOs are notoriously poor values.

The Aio is as old as the cpu, so.... Also, I was thinking maybe the GPU was stressing the CPU making it overload or w/e, was just a uneducated idea...
Its not the case when the whole top of it is a mesh vent and the front. I was looking at the https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835709018 because my case says 158mm max for cpu cooler and I really don't want an Aio... The mastercoolers are 159mm, so... Also forgot about maybe the thermal paste is old? If they used a no name Aio then I'm sure they used the worse thermal paste...

GPU temps is never above 75c
, dust filters were cleaned and even had side panel off. It is down to the AIO and or the thermal paste. Its a no name AIO and I'm sure the thermal paste is as cheap. I have a cryorig h7 sitting in front of me, waiting to buy thermal paste cleaner first.
