Hey Guys,
This is my first post so let me know if Im doing something wrong.
I have built upwards of ten comp from scratch but never really dealt with AMD or overclocking.
I know there some issues with the new Ryzen processors and I have tried to navigate some of the forums to remedy this issue but haven’t found anything about latency.
With four sticks the only way my comp with start is if I run at my RAM frequency at 2400 with the correct timing.

Here are my passmark memory marks.

I don’t understand why my latency is so high and this is what is causing performance issues.

Here are my OC settings

Here are my specs and OC setting.

Solution
This might help you. Higher RAM frequency will reduce latency of communication between the two CCX.

Being worked on by AMD at the moment, that latency is about right at the moment.

An AGESA update just came out which improved latency by upto 6ns, plus other fixes, there is another on the way in May with further improvements. https://www.overclock3d.net/news/cpu_mainboard/amd_will_soon_be_releasing_more_agesa_updates_for_ryzen/1

So for now, just keep your bios up to date and keep an eye out for future bios updates,

Im also guessing 32gb (4 x sticks) has an effect on it too, as we are pretty much running the same specs, I have an R7 1700 at 3.9ghz, 16gb G.skill Trident Z RGB 3200mhz @ 3200mhz CL16, MSI B350m Mortar, Sapphire Rx480 8GB Nitro+, Windows 10 Pro X64 with Creators update.
