Ok so I'm at a loss here and I'm completely baffled as to what's going on. I've been getting speeds no higher than 10mbps when I should be getting and used to get around 100 mbps. I've uninstalled, reinstalled, and updated drivers I've tried pretty everything I've seen throughout these forums. I tried a wired connection on my laptop and got about 120 mbps. The Wi-Fi is fine even with multiple devices connected. I have Spectrum and never really had any problems with their service. Last week I had a technician come by to check the internet he said the speeds were fine and didn't find any problems so then I thought it must be a hardware problem. I took my cpu to a local computer repair place and they checked it out top to bottom, hardware and software, but found nothing. When they connected it to their network surprisingly it was getting about 195 mbps. After that I changed the modem twice with new ethernet cords. I'm not sure what else to do or what could possibly be the problem

It would seem that you will have to play around with the PC's ethernet card settings, particularly the "duplex" settings. Try making some of the settings "fixed" instead of auto. What operating system are you using? If you are using Window's 10 it is possible that a recent update is not getting along with your hardware.

All three that I've had were the brand Ubee btw. I think its the only brand Spectrum offers nowadays but all had the same results on my desktop
