network driver problems

I have an asus x550j. Just installed windows 7. Network controller drivers are missing along with many others including USB. Can't connect to the Internet for drivers and I can't install them through a usb. Device manager doesn't even tell me which network adapter it has. Please help

Why cant you install via USB, basic USB 2.0 should still work in Win 7, you just need to download them all from a working computer, and save them to a usb flash drive.

If usb flash drive is not an option then you will have to burn the drivers to a CD
